African Tribal Mask

This African Tribal Face Mask was inspired by a study of the significance of African masks. I was drawn to the symbolism demonstrated by colors and motifs, and wanted to create something indicative of elements of life in general: White, meaning purity; blue, signifying love; green, showing fertility; and red meaning death. This mask could be used in ceremonies celebrating the spirit of life.
