Luck Dragon
I wanted to paint a dreamy image--it actually came to me in a dream recently. The dragon represents luck. I painted the dragon in a beautiful crimson orange and gave the background some cool green tones, with a splash of bronze.

Walk Two Moons
I always become enthralled when we have a full moon. I love the energy and beauty of the moon, and especially enjoy going on moonwalks through the forest as often as I can!

Bird on a Wire
I had this "wild" idea to paint a silhouette of this bird on barbed wire, to show how we all walk a fine -- sometimes dangerous -- line in life!

Poppy's Clarinet
I inherited the most wonderful old clarinet. I decided to stand it upright and paint it with a vivid poppy for a spash of color!

No Reservation
The New Year was approaching. I wanted to paint a beautiful dress that required "No Reservation" to go wherever or be whomever you wished!

Ode to the Humble
I painted these birds outside. At the time, my house was in the process of being remodeled. The birds reflected the changes in my life.

Wishes
I feel dandelions bring out the child in all of us! Just the simple act of picking a dandelion and making a wish before all the flower floats away with your secret!

Dreaming in Color
Dreams can tell us so much, often an amalgamation of many different thoughts. This painting encompasses several images that came to me in a dream. The Buddha signifies my great interest in yoga, and nature is represented in the sunflower, mountain, and the sun. A few of my favorite things!

Empty Nest
Viewing a friend's photos of barn swallows in New Mexico brought to mind a frequent rumination about the cycle of life and how all our babies fly off to live their own lives, and the cycle begins again.

Peace
Om
May there be peace in Heaven and peace in the sky.
May there be peace on Earth and peace in the water.
May there be peace in the plants and peace in the trees.
May there be peace in the Gods and peace in nature.
May there be peace in all.
May that peace, real peace be mine.
Om peace, peace, peace.
